Nothing of value today. Had more time today so I did not discriminate anything out. Found 3 keys, 1 dime, seven pennies all memorials, part of a hoe, and a roasting pot. The pot was down more than a foot. Kept getting a good 50 cent signal and kept digging. Once I saw the edge of it I had to find out what it was. For some reason it was wrapped in canvas which was rotting away. Now that I've got a pot guess I'll go get a chicken out of the freezer. GL and HH

Welcome Kathykkc and kudos on those finds. Looks like you already have the knack for finding things.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Thanks for sharing.

There has to be a story behind tha pot.

Maybe they burried something in it that
rotted away?

Strange,

Tabdog
