Got in several hunts this week and amd moving my way towards 100 silver. Found an old nickel I was hoping would be a Buffalo and it turned out to be a 1904 "V" nickel. Nice surprise and 1st real old coin of the year. Starting to really learn the Etrac so this week I found some really deep coins including a 9-10" Washington quarter and about a 8" Mercury dime. Starting to dig more nails but that must be the trade off between those iffy silver dime signals and nails. I'll gladly dig up 5 nals o get one silver. The other thing I am learning with the etarc is trust your signal. two times this week I pulled out a bottle cap or nail only to re-scan the hole and pull out a coin. I can't wait to hit an old church I have hunted that is full of trash. I am hoping the better machine will yield some really old coins. This week 1 Washington 5 Mercs 3 Rosies 16 wheats and the 1904 V Nickel. Thats the week in summary. Thx Wisconsin-digger
