Go Up Go Down

Tonight I went out at 6:30, came back home at 8 after finding these 2 gems and being eaten alive by bugs. The first is the one side of a tin(maybe?) and the other is the silver plated spoon. The interesting thing about the spoon is on the backside it says "oneida hotel plate" and on the front side it says "YMCA".

This is my 2nd spoon from this particular spot, old farm from the early 1900's that burned down around 1960.

Sorry if these pics arent that great, theyre from a cell phone.

One of the first things I found was a spoon. Isn't it fun to be able to read the information and date when it was made? Love finding stuff like this.

Great digs!! Smiley

Yes its extremely interesting. Its just so fun digging that kind of stuff out of the dirt that was once thought to be lost forever most likely. Imagine that object and what its seen, then to come into todays world!
