Hi, I went to the tot lot for the 1st time today. Didn't find anything real exciting but got out and had fun...Found 2 dimes, 16 pennies, a pair of tweezers hand full of bottle caps and about 6 buttons off a jacket or some thing.

Hi there from SharenH... I will be going out today as well to a few Tot Lots... What mode did you use? I hope to learn the tones there. Did you have to dig down far?

Some of my best rings came from tot lots. I use a beach scoop on sand lots and dig everything. I am not impressed with the new shredded tire lots, but I still hunt them. Great

I'm still fairly new to MD. I'm using a (totally new to me Whites coin master 6000 D/i series 3) I was testing (trying) out all modes. As far as digging I never had to go down very far at most 2 inches and that was for the tweezers. I hope to get out and use this new MD more before winter sets in here in the beautiful north west.
