LOL I'm a sick puppy .  I never look anyplace but the fence lines, Ground and dimples and Crack.  That Fine looking girl in front of me get's upset I'm not looking at her bottom.

Having Trained Wicked Wanda the Wife to do the same, she has found $20.00 bills, a few rings and ear rings in the Walmart parking lot.  Boy does that make her day.

Comes home and Rubs them in my nose and says, SEEEEEEE?  SEE SEE?

You do realise this is a Treasure hunting site don't you,

And what Exactly does she Rub in your nose  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Christian:  Excellent ideas!
When I was very young, I had a route I would travel in the older part of town to find lost coins. Because there were no alleyways behind the stores, deliveries were taken through a grated opening in front of the store. People would lose there coins down in the opening, then I would take a long stick with a piece of bubble gum on the end and retrieve the lost coins. Never had to ask dad for an allowance. Nowadays I just keep one eyeball glued to the ground when I am walking trough the parking lot. Found lots of coins, lost jewelry, full packs of cigarettes (I don't smoke though) and even a $20.00 bill once. Treasure is where you find it.

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

When I was a Kid, I was always looking for some pocket change.   I would hit the Car Wash trash trums every other day or so.  Goal was enough beer and soda bottles to buy me a game of bolling or what ever I could.   Man it's amazing the stuff people would chuck out in those things.  Stereos, Tools you name it.

I still have a quick root around when I clean up the car.

My favorite place when I was a kid was the dump yard, I found soooo much cool stuff that I could take apart without my dad getting mad at me LOL I found things like lawn mowers and some of them would still start vacuum cleaners by the truck loads and then there were all sorts of other things like spray cans, speakers, radios, turntables man you name it I could find it in there  Grin

Yep, when I was older I could go to the dump and find say 10 bikes.  Make three that worked out of them and sell them.   Those days are over.

When the vacuum cleaner sales man came past the town you could pick them up by the dozen, nowadays you cant even find the paper bag that fits in them. There are people that run a business from these dumps collecting copper, iron, aluminum, glass, lead and so on for resale to scrap dealers, and don't you dare to try and take anything when you go there either.
