Yep, when I was older I could go to the dump and find say 10 bikes.  Make three that worked out of them and sell them.   Those days are over.

The tip in my area has a "recycling shop"
You pay to throw your rubbish away, and they put them up for sale
Often the stuff for sale in there is more expensive that new.
And i am not talking about antiques or Old stuff.

Yes,
Watch out for anyone who says "Hi, I'm from the government and I am here to help you" lol

It is sad, because it seems like the world has become a "throw away society". I still shop "Goodwill, Salvation Army and thrift stores not only to find great bargains, but to find items that I can donate to my less than fortunate friends. I often find items that I can repair, and either use, sell, or just give away. Treasure is a many faced beauty.  Kiss

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

I like that. It's nice to see that there are still people out there that care about their mates. I have a few good ones and they know who they are, some of them are right here on this forum, in fact I think that they all are and some are not anymore but were. Strange when I come to think about it, my best mate did not even bother to come and say Hi to me after 12 years of being away, he just ignored me.

Well the thing is that you can't forget, we went to school together we dated girls at the same time we went to parties together, I was even there when he got hit by a car on his motorbike and gave him first aid WTF did I do to deserve this treatment any ways ? But that's OK one day he will cross my path and he'd better have all the right answers.

Xavier,
You don't necessarily have to forget, just forgive. Smiley
