Could it be possible that this regiment was searching for the lost Templars or the Grail ?

In the book The Good Regiment by Jack Verney, they went on along march down in the Lake Memphremagog region.

I am a descendent of Jean Bergevin dit Langevin who was a soldier of this regiment.
