T2 SE Limited, Fisher F2 backup

We have alot of T2 users here, and very little info on the machine. Mine is a T2 SE (has boost mode). I have the 5", 11", 15" coils. Using the 11" for general detecting, I set my discrim. at 50 (nickles come in about 52)  for trashy areas. Sensitivity around 60-70, but I adjust it up and down alot for different sites. I mostly use 3 tone on trashy  areas and bp when I can. I run the sensitivity as high as I can stand it sometimes, but even set low, it has plenty of depth. I have no clue what version mine is or how to find out if it's the latest or not. What is your favorite settings for general detecting, and boost mode?

I have an older T2 and mainly stay  in all metal, seems to be most reliable there. Depth is best and depth indicator works better in all metal as well as target ID.

When I disc, I like 1 and 1+ with sensitivity as high as I can go without falsing.  Still not really at ease using the T2 but it is a worthy machine.

Depends on what I'm hunting for.  If just out shooting for coins, desc. @ 10,  sen. @ 40 to 50,  and 2+.  Will also set the all metal mode with sen. @ 80 for quick comparison.  I find that with the stock 11" coil,  dry ground,  and using a screwdriver for recovery, that the reduction of the sensitivity gives good signals and improves separation even in trashy sites.  The T2 is a powerful machine and even if you throttle it back it still shows deep targets.    I know most users run it hot and I tried it that way,  but if coins shooting for fun and just popping coins who needs to go deeper than 5" and it is easy to flip over to all metal mode if I want.
