Go Up Go Down

Took the Omega out to the reservoir today, I have been digging every solid signal and today most of those were pull tabs. However next to two of those pull tabs were rings. I planned on hitting the main swimming area only to find a bunch of fresh holes  : ( I managed to pull a few coins from that area but nothing else. I decided to head over to the rocky area instead. I dug the gold ring first after looking for a mark inside I found 916, thinking its probably just plated I continue swinging. About a hundred feet away I pop the silver ring  (999) in between about 40 trash targets. Popped a few coins as well, all in all a good day swinging. Got my first silver!! After I got home I googled the 916 mark and the net says Im holding a 22k GOOOOOLLLLDDD ring! Gotta test it to know for sure but Im stoked at any rate.

I was surprised at the number of tabs at this park, I tossed a handful of beavertails in the bin from the swimming area before I moved to the "good" spot. Pretty sure whoever has been hitting the swimming area has been discriminating out tabs and leaving at least some of the gold behind for me Smiley

Nice finds there, just goes to show you have to dig junk to find the good stuff. For how much you have there you must be the only one digging all signals. Congrats, WTG....DW

when I googled the 916 mark it says it is common on gold from India, so I would guess new but made with old techniques.
