Short while back, dealer made me a deal I couldn't refuse, so jumped right on it, was very reasonable and lightweight, turns out that it is a very good detector and now I am using it quite a bit, started out with it cause it was light, then I found out it was a  very good detector, I got other detectors, but turns out I am using this one quite a bit, nice outfit- for the price=unbeatable Wise

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

Invaluable features are iron volume (to silent if and when needed) and iron flash indicator.

I noticed, while urning the iron OFF (Vol 10), some non ferrous targets ring in the iron range : very small low conductor or coins in the fringe detection area of the coil.

Great unit for the price

The freq it runs with is not a good gold machine.   Anything less the 12 or 15 is not for small gold.

Still a kick butt machine.

Well, after 4 months, I aleady founf 1 gold earring (round shaped) and three small  gold rings, all of them between 1 and 1.25 grams. Much depends on the shape. Won't find small chains, although I am still to test that with the 5" coil; Small gold is indeed more a G2 job.
