   Depending upon how you define "ghost town", there is probably at least one in every county  (although in some places the only remains of them may be buried under the streets of modern cities).
   One key to identifying ghost towns is to get old maps (even old road maps will work) and compare them to new maps for the same area.  You'll often find places on the old map that no longer exist.
