I agree, Definitely coins. one has a nice picture of a horse on it

Only thing i've seen for that coin with the horse is a 3rd century BC Greek coin (16mm - Greece, Zeugitana Carthage 3rd Century B.C.) but in gold. set in a brooch

Tanit was the Phoenician fertility goddess, and, along with the horse alone or with palm tree, was commonly featured on their coins. I know very little about Phoenician coinage, but this small bronze came along at the right time and price and serves as a nice foil to Roman coins.
