Thanks DW.  I did some research on it around the time I found it, but I haven't checked into it in years.  Might keep me busy this winter!  Also thanks to GR, Brenda and others who commented positively.

Yep,

It's one of the two for sure, but a little known language symbol text is almost Identical with Chinese & Japanese symbolic language text characters. It's called Kanji...I've studied on this topic somewhat over the years since the text is on a few of my divers watch day/date calendars...
