:-*Bless his heart, my dad knows how much I love to find "treasure", so he likes to send me gifts purchased on his limited budget (manly garage/estate sales). In the little treasure box full of his trinkets I saw inside something I had not remembered him sending, but it had a little note he wrote saying to "pass on the costume jewelry to someone else if I didn't like it". It was a silver ring with a black stone priced a quater, missing a small stone in the center. Took it in yesterday, turns out it is a 50's ring of
white gold and onyx, missing its diamond center. I am having it fixed and replaced with a diamond I had in a broken setting. What a find for my dad to send me (and for 25 cents)!
