In the UK they took away all hand guns and made it illegal to own one.
In the UK they made gun control so stringent that it's virtually impossible for an honest person to get a licence for a rifle.
In the UK they made certain shotguns illegal. Now maximum of double barrel and strict laws applied to the honest people.
In the UK guns are easily obtainable by criminals.
In the UK hand guns and rifles are killing more people that ever.
Gun crime has never been so high in the UK.
In the UK people give in too easily and allow the government to get away with anything they want and like posts above, the innocent suffer always.
USA.. don't give in .. do everything legally possible an fight to keep what you have. .. give in to a small concession and you open the doors to remove all your rights to own a gun of any sort.
Would I have a hand gun in the UK if I could have one legally.. you bet I would.
A gun is perfectly harmless ... it's the person that is dangerous.
Murder someone in the UK with a gun.. no death sentence and out of prison in 7 years for being a good boy.
Are hand guns available in the UK .. yes.. but only allowed to be used by "gun trained" police officers and other government bodies to protect the politicians, royal family and visiting politicians.
Let's be honest about this .. my chlidren and grand-chidren are more important to me than a thousand politicians and every worldwide member of any so called royal family put together. BUT .. they can have people with guns to protect them but we, the ordinary honest public can not have the same rights or protection for our families.
I also notice the US government are using familiar scare tactics and propaganda involving anything they can to make guns the main USA terrorist threat nowadays to hoodwink the public into thinking they are controlling guns to protect the US public.
I noticed that a recent shooting in a school has been jumped on certain US politicians as an arguement to ban every honest gun owner with a similar weapon in the USA from owing that type of weapon. One mad idiot and everyone must suffer because of that individual. oh come on. That is as absurd as saying they propose to ban everyone from owning a car or truck because some idiot deliberatly used one to run someone over and kill them.
We all know politicians are the biggest liars we know of and we all know politicians can never be trusted so come on USA, don't let a few politicians ruin everything for you like they have done in the UK and numerous other countries.
One person with a gun and they are now saying that the threat nowdays is from the US terrorist.. the people who own guns in the USA appear to be the main theme for terrorism there to bring in their proposed gun ammendments.
USA.. do everything in your power to prevent your government changing gun laws or suffer the inevitable consequences of losing everything.
After banning guns in the UK.. they started banning other activities like fox hunting etc. What will the USA ban after winning gun control of any sort.
USA look at the rest of the world and learn from their mistakes.
