What is the use of switch ?
I test the board, while pushing the "bush button", something is heard (like knocking on the door). But after connecting that switch, just silence !!

Can anyone explain more about how to run and use this  "sniffer xr-71" metal detector please ?
And also I replaced the BAT49 diode with a 1n4148, as used in Delta Pulse, because I didn't find. Is there any problem ?

Please guide me how to run...how to adjust the POTs ? I mean which one should be adjusted first...step by step ? and also the action of "push Button" ?

Thanks alot

WooooooooooW  Cheesy

At 1:00 AM
It is working finally !   Great
I made it...this schematic is TRUE, As I didn't find BAT49, I replaced it with 1n4148 and it is working now, the problem was 4066 supply ! I forgot to connect them on the solderless breadboard. And also my 4.7k-ohm resistors as mentioned in the schematic aren't 1%.

I could detect Can and some small metals under 50 cm and big ones more than a meter. Just because of existing metals in a range of about 1 meter around me, I couldn't detect more than this distance. I have to adjust it outdoor.

However the coil I used isn't for sniffer xr-71, I used the coil I had been made for EE Treasure ! Detecting

I have never built the unit.

That detector is still in the works on the GeoTech forum.

There are other detectors proven to be working you may want to look into.
