WM6, do you know more technical data for Italian metal detectors of CEIA for demining? I need instruction manual and service manual for MIL-D1/DS.

Hi mikebg, I was on the way to get mentioned manual and aparatus for test. Dealer here in SLO promised to visit me for those purposses. He call me (on initiative of producer which I contacted before), to arrange a meeting here in LJ .... and then ... he is not comming on specific date and not calling never again. Contact was broken. I am not calling to him never more too. So current status is: I am not in possesion of manual copy and have not tested apparatus (dedicated for mine detecting). If something changes in future I'ill inform you. CEIA is a little conspirative about data of his products (patent infringements? Who knows?).

Thanks WM6.
I received information from India where this machine is produced. The price will remain the same because CEIA has contract with NATO.
Thanks again Smiley

As you say, but probably without source code inside of this engine:

And yes, price CEIAs policy is more like price policy of well known other military detector producer (ML).

WM6, from what document is the picture of IC in your posting?

Im trying to understand the principle of operation.
The previous model of CEIA - MIL-D1 has no suffix DS. See

I think that suffix DS comes from Italian language because the modernisation is described as "due sonde-antenna che agiscono da trasmettitore e da ricevitore del campo magnetico irradiato". See

Very well, thanks.

So I can ad only this CEIA answer, after I asked for suitability CEIA CMD detector for prospecting:

Dear Sir,

we regret to inform you that this detector is not suitable for prospecting (natural gold detecting / nugget hunting).

Best Regards

G.. G...

Hi fff. You are the anticipated delay of 33usec - 150usec. Does the SBG-PI possible that can provide sampling delay <10usec ( or 8us, or 6us ...) ? I know that delay <10usec creates instability in heavily mineralized ground, but it is good for gold chains and similar stuff.
