I would like to modify the coil of a proton II that is 1m x 1m and enlarge it to detect more depth to larger items.
I wonder if there is any specification for the design, I have understood that according to the PI coil is not tuned but I guess the thing does not ride around with any wires and any diameter. Please help

hello chani, pi coil sbould be tuned, larger coil for deep search for big targets and lower  frequency 90-120hz is good for deep big targets.
