Go Up Go Down

Recently on a TV show about meteorite hunters the guys were carrying around these hoop-skirt looking coils that were square and about 8 feet across. One guy walked in the middle of the coil carrying it around. It looked like some kind of PVC pipe frame with a coil inside. They were finding large targets at about a yard/meter deep. I have a GPX 5000. Does anyone know how to make something that large? I'd love to try it on my claim this summer.

Coils of that size are not for the faint of heart.

First you need a Detector that can use one.

Then you need to know your only going to find Lunch Box size targets with one.

Some folks say they don't work at all and I don't think that is the case but to each there own.

These folks make money making some Biguns!
