I think 30 or 50 shortest time.

A pulse detector will handle the hot ground very well no need to worry. If the pulse won't get it nothing will except radar.

Homefire can that (30-50) BE SHORTENED any with a revision.as you stated a good gold pulse is 8 or 10 as Fosters are down to 8 I believe as have had his gold pi and its a killer on gold like 15in on a 10 dollar gold piece and usd nickels. on our (us) COINS ONLY ABOUT 8-10 IN AIR TEST ON DIMES AND QUARTERS. But Garys sounds like a killer with a large head for large objects. shortribs

If you need help with Gary's pulse 1 or pulse 2 just visit his web site. If you purchase his basic kit he is very helpful through email or even over the phone. I recieved a pulse 1 kit in the mail about a week ago and I'm almost done. It is a really staight forward project. Gary's metal detector site:

Thanks Jusurma I can't read schmatics and my guy that made items for me is 87 yrs old and gave it up. When I find someone to make one up for me from gary's kit i'll buy a kit and have a coil made for it also.as had a pulse 2000 from a&s out of California but sold it about 5 yr ago and asked to buy it back but the guy wouldn't part with it.And they were only about 300$ or so way back when I bought mine, I've had a Whites pulse and fosters pulses but sold them as something new comes out but I think the pulses are at a peak now so all the pulses are great to use nowdays.Just gotta find some one to make me up one.  thanks   shortribs ( Bob in Mo- usa).note the TDi Whites has a good disc on it and is gteat.

My Pulse 2 can be adjusted down to 15us delay time.  This appears to work good for smaller pieces of gold, but not fine gold.  The delay time that will work is very dependent on the decay time of the loop and cable connecting to the loop.  Minimizing inductance in the loop and cable and choosing the correct damping resistor value are critical for running at low delay times.  You really need a good inductance meter and dual channel oscilloscope to work this all out.

correction to my post above, minimizing CAPACITANCE in the loop and cable along with keeping the inductance of the loop/cable in the 350 uS range will allow the shorter delay times to work.

Wow cdalake1, 38" for a pop can with a 30" coil is good. If you don't mind, how many turns and what awg wire did you use?

Go Up Go Down

hi there sir,

Is this equipment really working for like japanese treasure in the philippines?..I need to test the huge wood burried in the sea very much bigger than any live trees in our place.its like more than 2x1 meter(s) and was covered by dead corals and a huge rock on top.I discovered since I was a grade school later on now that i turned 25 I just remember it when i saw it again and questioned my mind, how come a huge wood burried here totally covered by dead corals, mud and sand.it cant be a log naturally burried here.the huge rock is now removed by a group of settlers living nearby the shore broke pieces of rock in the sea and used to build wave barriers on the shore. It is perfectly hidden because the wood perfectly covered and cant be seen until a huge whirlwind passes through it.I think no one can recognize it that it is a wood.i have tried to excavate it but it is more than I expected.it needs a heavy equipment to lift it up.the wood is obviously burnt. It might be oe of the world war 2 japanese treasure burried in the philippines.

By the way there was a pile of sand bags burried and under the sand 500meters away in the right facing north.the bags are filled with sand in half and tied up all together with a nylon.

Any one can share some ideas.
