Here is an idea to try. Attached is a picture of a Garret Electronics Dual coil. 1 is 5 inches and 1 is 10 inches. You can use Xavier's idea of adding a switch to the coil circuit to switch to the pin pointer. Instead switch from a 10 in to 5 in coil. The idea worked for Garret. It was made for their BFO Unit. What do you all think?
