Dear Eugene52

Your uploaded PCB board has one mistake, I demonstrated it by the below photo. I think we can't find one metal detector circuit, without problem unfortunately. Angry

The problem was fixed a long time ago !!! Please look for the latest schematics by date !!!!
The newer members have missed a lot of information by not reading previous posts , especially end of last year !!!!
Regards.........Eugene

I check DP in two sections,

first with 2.6ohm,45cm diameter coil. it detected one 2cm coin at 20cm. its stability was medium.

second, 4.2ohm, 45cm coil. it's very poor in detecting and very bad stability.

I don't know this bad stability is because of the coil or anything else, when you make it silent, after one second, it makes sound again. you can't make it silent for long period.

Hello . Check potentiometer P3[20k] and resistor R4[5.6k] going to pin 13 of LM556[D1,IC1] timer . 300 pps is to high , should be 100 to 120 pps .
Regards.............Eugene
