Dear bernte_one

There are 200 ON/OFF limitations to the Demo hex file for the PIC18F252 microprocessor. After that you need to program the PIC once more and then you have another 200 chances.
However, there are no limitations on the sensitivity of the Delta Pulse 2+ metal detector, i.e. I found that the Delta Pulse 2+ is a sensitive and very good detector. I do have the advantage that I use the FULL hex file for the PIC18F252 microprocessor.

I would now like to build a new more improved 'digital' Delta Pulse metal detector called PIM-2 in my spare time. So I am willing to SWOP (i.e. exchange) my FULL PIC18F252 hex file for the PIM-2 FULL firmware ver.05 (or ver.06) hex plus eeprom files (NOT Demo files). Note that I am not a DEALER and so I will NOT sell the full PIC18F252 hex file out of respect for our Master Elbombaci (aka Sleepless, Uykusuz & Ahmet Akgöz) who has made all these Delta Pulse metal detector projects possible, especially for the amateur metal detectorist such as myself.
I know that Deep Max (and possibly Freedan3d) also have the FULL version of the firmware for PIC18F252 microprocessor, and I'm glad that they are also respecting our Master Sleepless by not SELLING anyone the FULL hex file on the forum. i think that a fair exchange is a reasonable request without jeopardising our Masters business interests in selling his metal detectors. I should also add that our condolences are with all the Turkish people and the relatives of all those miners who lost their lives in the mining disaster recently. Uykusuz, please accept our sympathies.

Best wishes.

Obrigado (thanks in Portuguese) and ciao

Speedy_G

Dear k3rnel31

I would not waste my time trying to build this detector.
Master m-USTA-fa developed the Delta Pulse 3 which, in the end, turned out to be a very unstable and insensitive Pulse Induction metal detector. That’s the reason why he turned his attention to developing its successor in the form of the  Delta Pulse III-S. Masters Tesla^Pulse^Coil and Karadaǧ (Montenegro) have also tried to improve the Delta Pulse 3 but have failed. In any case both of these Delta Pulse detectors are not really meant for the amateur detectorist who is mainly concerned with building metal detectors for fun and, in addition, to try and understand how metal detectors work. Furthermore, the hex file for the Delta Pulse 3 is only a DEMO version and is meant for checking that the finished Delta Pulse 3 is “functional”, but will not discriminate. The hex file for Delta Pulse III-S is not available and one needs to buy the “kit” including the sealed “TE1 add-on unit” to the main PCB board. So again, the amateur detectorist is ignored in some metal detecting forums which are supposed to be so friendly and helpful.

Best

Speedy_G

Speedy_G thanks for the reply but you should know that i have already built delta pulse 2 (2007 version) and it was successfull and stable and great and the post here by freedan3d he confirmed that it works very well and it discriminates very well

As long as your connection are right there should not be any problem.

Yes that reply was meant for you. A connection is the place where you put the wire between to components (Points)
