Then you have it all wrong mate

I suspect that English is not his primary language and may be the cause of this apparent miscommunication.

Your mileage may vary.

The way I understand what he is saying is that the DBP2010 has a very bad detection depth hence my response he has it all wrong (the detector) and more specifically the coil. I willing to bet that he used twisted wire.

You're probably right. Perhaps he'll clarify soon.

I hope that he will so that we can help him to get his machine running properly.  He is the first one that said that the DBP2010 had a bad detection depth.

Xavier, to some of the people here, a depth of 1 meter is bad because it won't reach 2 meters.

How true, that old saying applies "give them an inch and they'll want a mile."

Say, Gramps. Have you ever found a treasure down as deep as 2 meters? I never have. It takes a huge amount of energy to remove that much soil. Nobody would want to do it twice. That's a hole deeper than the average grave, for Pete's sake.

In my dreams maybe but in the real world no way.  The only deep holes I've seen dug were on "Meteorite Men" and they weren't 2 meters deep of course they use some specialized equipment.

Grin I'd love to see them come here and dig a two meter hole, We did and it took us seven days and that was for a new septic tank (still looked for gold as we were digging though)
