It's not really a food but, Ballston Spa is historically known for its spring water. It bubbles up from the ground all over the place. I found an 1781 reales by one a few years ago.

Bar-B-Que Kiss
You could eat it every day from a different place
and never eat the same recipe twice.
But then again there's Tex Mex

Pepperoni rolls "sauce & cheese"  Great
The Italian coal miners in the 20's came up with this Delicious combo.they use to just eat the pepperoni with some hard bread on lunch breaks. Not really sure who actually came up with the pepperoni roll with sauce and cheese but around 1928
the country club bakery in Fairmont W.Va made them famous through out the state and parts of PA.and MD.
Up here in upstate NY. they have pepperoni rolls but it's a whole different ball game.
By I sure do miss them good ol West Virginia pepperoni rolls with hot sauce and cheese.

So Mudflap you know about that Wheeling feeling ? I assumed that only the locals knew of that 'WHEELING FEELING" have not heard that since I left back there.
And yes you just can't beat a cold one and a good ol W.Va pepperoni roll   Beer Chug
But then why would you want to beat it?   Punishment

Hello everybody,
In South Carolina if it has a heartbeat it can be dinner. Fried chicken, fried fish, rice and gravy, butter beans, tater salad, fresh sliced tomaters, and the best wood fired pit cooked BBQ you will ever push past your tonsils. Yall come on in and take yer shoes off. Supper will be ready in a little while.
