I think I had heard about a video from a camera being lowered into the hole but think I also heard it may have been a hoax.  Think I heard something about a severed hand in the video.  I wouldn't mind being lowered into the hole myself.

Not a hoax at all.  Dan Blankenship, current active treasure hunter who lives on Oak Island discovered a cavern 235 feet below the surface on Oak Island and lowered a camera down there. I have actually seen the BW photos from that camera and one can clearly see sides of chests and pillars and posts and header boards. The current part owners from Michigan and Dan B are currently awaiting there TTL to be reknewed/issued.

As exciting as being lowered down that hole may sound, Dan himself almost lost his life doing just that.  Its dangerous and not for the feint of heart.

Oh! That's interesting news! So there might soon be some movement in this most interesting hunt! Please keep us posted! How often have you been to the island yourself?

Regards,

Christian

I have been to the island about 5-6 times. And I am fortunate enough to consider the Blankenships my dear friends. Oak ISland has been a passion of mine for about 4 years. I have read many books on the subject and have met many of the living authors and experts.

This sounds amazing. It must be great to have such an opportunity! Sp what is your theory of what might be down there?

Also what about the theories of Keith Ranville? Are they reasonable?

Regards,

Christian

I'd rather skip over any comments on KR formaly known as Oakster and many other AKA's.

The opportunity to access Oak Island is there for many who are willing to make the effort to get there during Oak Island days. Where do you live...what state?

I have no concrete theory. And God knows a lot of what has been historically written about Oak ISland has as many twist and turns as a back mountain road.  Make no mistake about it, there are man made structures beneath Oak ISland and I believe there is still retreivable treasure to be had.

Well, 'm in the white sausage state ... Bavaria, Germany (hence his Nazi alliteration  :Smiley ) ... so unfortunately a long way to travel.

When are those Oak Island das being held?

Also are thery any theories you can dismiss for sure (e.g. Templar, Shakespeare ... just to give some examples) ...

How old you think the man made structures are?

That's a really exciting topic!

Regards,

Christian

Christian,

Far from an expert I believe the common carbon dating dates being thrown around are between the 15-1700's.

Oak Island days are in June this year and thus far every year one can be granted a tour of the island.

There was an old stone with coded message on it found 90 feet in the Money Pit.  Some say it did not exist. Others say it was planted.  However there have been documents witnessed and signed that allude to its existence.
