Old Garrett DeepSeeker....

...Was reading a few older posts and have some comments.....(that particular thread was locked...so this is the best that I can do!).....the Garrett Deepseeker runs at 5.5 KHZ so the GroundHog (15.0 KHZ) coils will Not work...in my opinion the Lower frequency DeepSeeker is better for the Iron Relics while the GroundHog is better suited for Coins and Jewelry....The older large 22 inch and 12 by 24 inch coils and larger will Not work on the Deepseeker or the Groundhog....since these coils are made for the older Garrett BFO's which stands for Beat Frequency Oscillating....Although these older Garrett BFO's are basically Obsolete....not very sensitive to small targets compared to anything newer/......they have an affinity for finding deep large iron/....so if you want to find the old iron container which Grandpa concealed or looking for the old Wells Fargo strong box these detectors will do the job and will save you a lot of money.

....OK...back to my initial post on this thread......there was a  an older post where someone was trying to use a 15 KHZ coil on a 5.5 KHZ metal detector which will Not work... Now the GroundHog in the Long Lunch Box must be really RARE ....so this applies to the normal 5.5 KHZ Deepseeker.
