| Hello I am a Newbie to this site, And here is my first post.
I was in Miami on vacation around June and detecting the waters at night. I ran into Howie the maker of the Howie scoop. He was out detecting with his wife. Point is He showed me the new version of the sand scoop he made. He said I could locate him on craigslist and purchase one thru him there. I Tried it, and could not locate the man. If anyone has an email or # I would appreciate the help, thanks Beach-Hunter
I will check back here to see if there is any new news a couple times a week.
I dig this site.

Update 2: They were on EBay and Amazon last year, but they haven't had any since. The guy makes them in his own small shop and is the president of the link above's metal detecting club. Good luck. Hope he is still around and healthy.

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.
