by the way, the stuff you're finding improves with time and practice.   My wife and I were known as the king and queen of nails around our club for quite a while.   If there was a nail to be found, we usually found it (anything from little tiny tacks to large spikes).......so don't get discouraged if your not finding 18 carat gold rings with huge diamonds (yet)

MXT pros... Cool! Your starting off with some great detectors. Welcome from CT, Karen. Don't get into a rut and stay with the same settings all the time. Experiment, and if you get a bit burned out just chill and do some more research. You will find that will become interesting also.This is a good site for info.  Post your cool finds.....
