King Cobra [WIP]

Hello, everyone.  Don't mind me, I just signed up to get information on metal detectors, especially King Cobra (Super Cobra).  I have a PCB for the last ten years, and finally, I am going to build it (and also a pinpointer).

I also found something called a "Long Range" or "Ion" Metal Detector.  Seems smart and fancy, so I am looking forward to learning more about those too.

I wish you all success in your hunts and great finds!

welcome to the forum.
King Cobra has/had  a good reputation  and been built by members of the forum
lrl is NOT a metal detector and you should have a good think before you start spending money on it.

Welcome to the forum from Oregon!  Good luck in your search and build.  I am very skeptical of the "long range" detectors and claims.

Interesting... I knew something was fishy about Long Range Detector because they seem very similar to dowsing, but all these companies selling models to big $$$ certainly creates hype.  Good to know that they are a scam.  No need to waste mental energy on them.  Cool  Thank you for the information!

I will create a Build thread for the King Cobra.  It is going to be a relatively lengthy project because some parts have to be ordered from a broad or made.  Especially the coils will have to be designed in 3D and then made.

Gia sou kai esena, nickel_n!!!

Greetings from Athens, ArfieBoy!!!
