Hey Buckshott, there is a flea market a few miles of Organ, NM. Which is about as close to white sands missle range as you can get. There used to be a town called Kent above it, but there is no sign of ruins and I believe and active rock quarry on it. Organ is considered a Ghost Town, but it is inhabited. It used to have 800 people and two slaoon around the 1870's if I remember right. Theres spires to the west, the owner actually put up a fence and no trespassing signs. There are many ghost towns list on old maps, but locating them is the trick. Heres a link for you:
