So this bloodhound sniffed out your family tree. I'm laughing. Neat to meet your family  Smiley look like nice folks. Darn, I was hoping to find something new that might help you with the arrowheads. I do hope you find them. Sue

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Good Day And Happy New Year Sarge Relic!
I hope I can Assist You in your endeavor. The family that you seek might of rented the homestead that they were at. They can be located by going to the post office and research the name in the county, going back 100 years. Remember, the Post Office is "federal', of which there records have to be on file for any and all research. Another way is hire a P.I. to find it for you. It will cost a little but how much is it worth to you to find it! I hope this is helpful to you, question, what is an MD?

Thanks tman,

You're correct, the place was rented.  My family, at that time were known as "sharecroppers".  I will look into the postal records.

Thanks again,
Danny

Hello, I live in Bath Springs and have looked into this for a few weeks now. I have come up with a few areas and talked to some people about your family. I am now at a point where anything else I do is going to take some time and gas. If I pursue this any further, I would like to be a part of the search for the arrowheads. I understand that this is part of your family's history, so if you don't care for a "partner" I completely understand. Let me know if you would like my help, though, and good luck in your search!

Danny,

It has been interesting following your search for the old family place.  Good luck on finding it!  Let us all know how you make out, if you find it, if you find the points and how the search goes.  Again, best of luck!   Detecting
