Never heard of the Jesuits involved in that one.

You are now, it is not a myth.  After finding and now owning the Legendary Mine of the Jesuits, Tayopa, i embarked on a campaign to see how they managed to send the product of the illicit mines (in Sonora & Chihuahua ) to Rome.

so far I have found that they sent mule trains west  x  nw to the vicinity of El Paso  on the Rio grande, then north to the area of Caballos / Victoru0 Peak for storage until the biannual Jesuit ship anchored in the vicinity of Matamoros.  then down the trio Grande by raft to the waiting ship   where it was loaded, aboard the wairig Jesuit ship for trana-hipment to Tome.

It is an ongoing investigation for which I have applied for a grant from te Explorers Club to put hands on for final proof.
