Hi Bill B.
TLE2071 Must be tested on delta pulse to find success , LF 357,LF356 ,TLO71 TESTED.

Yes, very important to test, that's why I mentioned that I haven't tested it.  However, if the extremely common and cheap TL071 works well and, most importantly, provides the same detector performance as the LF357, that's what I'll go with.

Hi Japanese,

Images of my Delta Pulse 2,
Everything works, only the red LED is lit continuously. Why?
Searchcoil 35 cm in diameter, 8-wire cable to adsl, 4 turn, 3,5 Ohm...

HUF 20 detects about 45 cm

alt_yol this is a Delta Pulse = 6 potmeter
altyol this is a Delta Pulse 2 = 7 potmeter, the seventh potmeter = volume

I made DP2

What is the original source for the Delta Pulse design?  Is it a commercial design that entered the DIY realm?  Is the Sniffer XR71 a copy of the Delta Pulse design or the other way around?

If the Delta Pulse was originally a commercial design, what were the electrical characteristics of any coils that were offered for it (wire gauge, number of turns, inductance, damping resistor values, etc.)?  I'm after a proven successful 1m x 1m coil design for the Delta Pulse.

Hi

I'm sorry. I do not know their history. I know they are being rebuilt. The xr71 and the delta pulse are almost the same. But these are good designs.

Hi Bill B.
TLE2071 Must be tested on delta pulse to find success , LF 357,LF356 ,TLO71 TESTED.
best time
j.

I just noticed this text in the TI data sheet for the TLE2071:

Direct Upgrade to TL07x BiFET Operational Amplifiers
Greater Than 2? Bandwidth (10 MHz) and 3? Slew Rate (45 V/μs) Than TL07x

The GBW and slew rate are two characteristics that made the LF357 desirable in that position in the circuit.  The TLE2071 is an improved TL071 in exactly those two characteristics and is advertised as a direct, drop-in upgrade for the TL071.  I should have guessed that from the "071" in the TLE part number.  The TL071 is $1.26 from Mouser and the TLE2071 is $1.83, only a slight bit more, so I am going to use the TLE2071.
