Your question is not completed.    What type of metal detector and what type of wave ?

Capture ?   Detect ?  Record ?  Be Employed ?

Cause Interference ?

Hello my friend
thank you for your reply
Maybe my question is not a concept ... because English is not my language
my question is :
For each metal detector frequency
Metal detector frequencies can be captured
How far are these frequencies (Is anyone can reach him at a distance close to me or far away from me .. when the receiver)
I have a metal detector of 100 to 800 Hz
I hope you understand me now

With the Right Equipment most metal detector signals could be captured and Recorded for 100's of feet.   It's a Spy thing.  LOL

If your talking about interfering with another detector  it would only be 10's of feet.  Even then not so much.

If your talking about being able to use the signal from someone else s detector, NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.  You would only be able to detect the Tx Signal.  Not the Processed Rx signal.

Is that what your after ?

Metal detectors are quite low in Power.  Even PI detectors radiate Little RF Energy.  They do emit EMP energy but not vary well.
