Xavier,
Tower of confusion between cool2010 and I. My first posts were about the pinpointer circuit Saromines posted from a Russian site. I modified it slightly to modernize it. Cool2010 entered another version from probably the same Russian site. From then on he thinks I am talking about his entry. I have stated which one I am talking about, even posted the schematic yet he insists I have the wrong schematic. I have built Saromine's circuit, and it works. To top it off he posts files that say I  don't have permission to open, and pm's me files that have .zip and .doc extension's but download to .bin files that have no name. Considering ignoring his posts until the problem can be found.

yes not same versions i shared different versions that pinpointer ( soo ignore my messages ) ( only ferrite part is tested and coil working ) . i send you my versions files and .doc version for info my version and others.. youll see at the .doc

that one : for problem with Ferrite...

whos using Ferrite and have some problems.. not stable every rotation change buzzer is beep...

1- ferrite feel on the Earth's magnetic field ..
2- when the ferrite Standing on the table stable is well but when you change its destination ferrite will will be affected from magnetic ( physics rule )
3- easy way use little coil and thoroughly wrap with foil or use electrical tape and wrap
4- use silicone ...required places with silicone ( housing )

my other messages will ignore..

This is why you all need to Open New Threads on another subject.  Muddy the Waters and things get messed up.  Never Inject other stuff on a working thread.

I saw it somewhere on this thread, but don't see it now, but what gauge wire is being used for the ferrite coil?
Another trick is to keep leads from the board to the coil as short as possible.

Let me know how you do the Ferrite Coil please.   Mine will be of about the same type not as fat as they one you have.

Will do Homie. Because of different  core sizes, your # of turns will be different. Just make sure the frequency is in the range specified on the schematic. A shield will be necrssary yoo. Just got to get coil wire size now.
