i want to say 2 or 3 things..

whos using Ferrite and have some problems.. not stable every rotation change buzzer is beep...

1- ferrite feel on the Earth's magnetic field ..
2- when the ferrite Standing on the table stable is well but when you change its destination ferrite will will be affected from magnetic ( physics rule )
3- easy way use little coil and thoroughly wrap with foil and use electrical tape and wrap again
4- use silicone ...required places with silicone ( housing )

youll see work better than before ...

Shocked That's ridiculous, who wants a pin pointer that detects a coin at over 300mm? very impressive though but I for one don't want it.

I had a stability problem  with just a plain coil, no ferrite. Discovered  that it was with the leads connecting to the coil. If I  put my hand near them, the buzzer would go off. Sometimes just moving place to place set it off. Coax shielded lead to coil fixed that. Still gets falsing tome to time. Going to try a small cap (.1uF or 100nF) across the reset switch.

Thank you. I get the picture. However I am not going to join a Russian forum just to thank someone for his design. He can read it here. He is most welcome to join us.

Just found eddy71 in our member list. He joined, but has never posted anything. Nothing since 2014. Either he forgot he joined or doesn't want to talk to anyone, just download our ideas. Well now we have one of his.

Just want to mention, I  am using a cell phone for most of my posting. No internet at home for laptop. Using phone as a hotspot costs me a lot of money with my provider. Not sure if you are aware or not, but there is no cut and paste on my phone. Will wait until I get to a wifi hotspot again so I  can use my laptop

It will only be to my taste when I get to see it working in field, bench testing will remain bench testing.

Ayep
You got that right "X".  Smiley Smiley. It isn't worth a tinker's damn if doesn't pass field tests with independent  verification by fellow colleagues. Indesputed rules of scientific discovery.

which chip used  675 or 629 ?  and which .hex file ?

At page 72 :

Addy sad ' important not to forget the 100nF on foot controller. Electrolyte to the board and I forgot to separate soldered point wiring. "  ( google translated )

and page 80 :

The better capacitors, the less false positives .. .. Checked ( google translated )

I used a PIC12F675 and MetFM2_675.hex. Just like Saromines said was most stable. I am waiting on a ferrite rod to arrive this week so I can continue the build. I have a 1.5 inch - 2200 µH coil and have paralleled it across the coil with a .022 µF cap (22nf). The frequency out from pin 5 from the micro is a square wave at 18.6 KHz. Open air range is about 3 inches on a 25 cent piece. I am using the attached circuit below. A fellow member and I are building a long board version of the circuit below and are waiting for parts so we can test it and when we find that it works we will post it.

Dusty Carl

PS. Your attached zip file won't let me access it. It is locked.

My refinements were for the first schematic Saromines posted not the one you posted later. The zip file you posted says I don't have permission to access it.
