ya..... Sort of looks like one!     Made of a Micarta disc, nylon wire ties, nylon hardware, G10 fiberglass shaft mount, piece of heated and smashed PVC tubing, commercial epoxy, and an aluminum shaft from a shower curtain rod!!! The coils are soft drawn 100% oxygen free enameled wire, soldered with Kester 63/37, hand tied with rodent treated nylon lace cord rated 65 lb break, and HD aluminum Faraday shield bonded to coax fed T/R board.
Then added 1 pint of fresh whipped cream with shredded coconut and hit with a blowtorch for ascetic beauty....................... Dimes at 4"........    Amen

LOL,   NO Gum Drops on Top?   Deprived again ! Grin

Think I've used just about every material known in the Plastics world at one time or another.  MaxWel house coffee container lids make Jiffy 6" sniper coil housing.

My first BFO could do dimes at 6" (After a Rain, Sun Behind a cloud so not to drift, with fresh battery)...  LOL
