about nexus battery cell
You may have heard or read that Nexus Machines 'eat' Batteries .I have a Mk2 and untill this fantastic MD
seems to me a little heavy or maybe not well balanced , i wanna detach cell box and put instead a 12 volts
dry battery in my back but it worked with 15 Volts , i'm afraid i'll lose depth with 12 volts
instead 15 volts , what do you guess ?

I would build a 4S 2P Li Ion battery Pack.

Li Ion cells would weigh a pile less then any Lead Acid Battery.

You could go with a 4S PolyPack but I don't much like those.  They can get most ugly on you if shorted out.

Using 18650 Li Ion cells you could do quite well on run time I would think.

S4  working voltages   =  16.8  to  12.0V

Nominal Voltage   =    4 * 3.7 =  14.8V

i already think about this alternative but i don't know how long this can last
tha's why i'd rather took a dry cell one cause i'm sure it will hold for
much longer but it was not my question , my question was 12 volts
instead 15 volts : should i loose depth ?
regards

I do not think so.   The circuits working voltage is below that I would think.
