Hi everyone,

I have build clone PI metal detector with atmega8 (

), and it works fine, detecting coin on 20-25 centimeters. But when i try to test with diferent coil it stops to work fine. Actually it work, but detecting coin only on a few centimeters. I try to repair it, change microcontroler, irf740, 2n5551, some capatitors, but still is same. I dont have idea what is wrong. I hope that someone could hep me. Any sugestion or idea can help. I can post a picture with voltages that i have measured.

No, now is the same with all coils. Detecting only on a few centimeters. Maybe, it happen because i change coils with detector powered on. Now i dont now what is burned or damaged. Later today i wil post circuit with measured voltage, if it help.
