Pioneer 202 - Bounty Hunter

I'm spending a week in the Gulfport/Biloxi area in late October 2010. Does anyone know if there are any problems with metal-detecting on the beaches along the "Gold Coast"? Does anyone have any suggestions about hunting around the Biloxi area?
