Good luck! I have seen areas that were searched by newcomers leaving exposed holes all over. Please cover up all the holes you dig. After a while you will be able to leave an area pristine as if you had not even been there. I only ask newcomers to due this so we will not get more restrictions against us. Have fun and good luck.

Good point Chewy! I too have run across some nasty holes, left behind. I've gotten so that you can't tell where I've been, and I've taught my son & grandson to be carefull as well. They are amazed at the small, precise holes I dig, using my GTI2500. They are using my Ace250, and are getting much better targeting the finds. This hobby is so much fun, but I fear that new cable TV show, "The Diggers", is going to create a mess for us detectors. Hopefully not.
Have a great season!
