I was curious if others are still using?
I have been hunting old city blocks of homes being demolished
for new developments. Let me know best settings.
The meter is accurate. I usually retrieve coins at ID 180.
Let me know best notch & Disc.

G Day Brombo set you disc at zero if your using the GT, zero notch, set it to disc now turn you sens to the right at 4 o'clock
now find a patch of clear groud and sweep the coil making sure there are no signals in the ground, The turn up the sensitivity
up to 2 o'clock and sweep again it the threshold stays steady then turn it up some more and keep doing that till the threshold
disappears then back it off til it stays, dont be worried about the he sens setting because it does'nt matter that much on a
sovereign because the machine will do the rest, and if you have any problems come back and  post on this thread and i will
catch up with you somewhere, and don't forget to let us know how you get on. I hope this helps.

Sorry mate, I see your using the XS model, the same should apply to that one because the only differance is
the GT has an Iron mask switch and the noise cancell switch and fix trac and pinpoint, and the disc / all metal switch,

So if you machine has the built in Iron mask then don't use the disc knob all should be well
