Hi Aurelius !
I'm from france (near Bordeaux, good wine, great food and so on), using all existing Minelab models... Why ? Because I can of course lol ! ;p
I can tell you even if french territory is very small (compared to the enormous US fields areas Smiley)
some of our fields are very hard using detectors, due to special ground conditions changing every time, every step.
Minelab products are very usefull because (my opinion) we can use them on every field encoutered even if hardly mineralized one
or not, with interesting performances. For me, the best Ground compensation management.
The only necessary condition is : practise with slow swinging motion.

That's all folks
wish you all the best in THunting !

East central IL here.  Just got a 2 month old SE Pro with the pro coil.  May replace my DFX, not sure yet.  I have a long way to go to understand the tones.
