Hi all !
I've been using a 2nd hand Quattro for ten months now, and with reasonable success.
Living at the (north) seaside, I hunt most of the time the wet sands areas at low tide, with no major problems : not enough iron to fool the "slow" quattro. (Dry sand is hunted with old TR's).
Now, I do not know you, folks, but I live in the constant fair of a failure of my equipment, so I want to buy another Minelab unit for the wet sand. Not necessary ment to be a backup. The "Q" might get some rest, too.
But what?
X-70 in prospecting mode-----any good on the wet?
Older 2nd hand explorer ...XS,II, SE are they
that different from each other?
Should I save some Quattro gold to buy an Etrac?
(The Safari is not different enough from my Quattro...)
I know, those questions are frequenty asked.
The problem is I do not know these detectors.
Any help is welcome.
Thank you.
