I got this 11" searchcoil (SuperSearch) that was supposedly for a ML Musky Advantage and plugged it into my Sterling. I can't get it to stop buzzing. I tried tuning it... nothing. If I lift it up in the air, It starts chattering. Help please.

Thanks

Sean
I also sent an email to ML USA, so hopefully I can get some help. If this coil is not for my machine hopefully someone will trade with me.

Looks like it's the right coil for the Musketeer and it should work on the Sterling.
My guess is something is wrong with it.........maybe two wires are touching inside the connector. Wiggle your connector back and forth while the detector is on.
Keith Southern may be able to help you, will PM you his email.  I have never used your size coil.
