Go Up Go Down

I have all ML machines and I love em.. now my stupid question of the week is this, I have 2 sov. gt's.  my older one, where you take the battery pack out, the two metal tabs inside that battery area, well its got some rust on it.. I have tried to get it off, mabye I am not using enough stuff or elbow grease to get it off but can someone tell me this, two questions actually, one why can't I get the rust off and other then sending it into ML, can someone replace those metal tabs so theres no rust. I do have the dixie mods on that machine.. any input would be helpful.

thanks in advance,
Rae

Its plain old normal rust, not from battery leakage..not white... I just want it off and I can't get it off..afraid I will either get the cleaning stuff inside the guts of the machine, cause I LOVEEEEEEEEE MY GT.

Try to rub it with a plain ol pencil eraser on a pencil.

Use it dry.

If it's not pitted in, it should come off ok.
