sorry outback,WHAT A CRAP DETECTOR,weee woooo beeep waaau ping peep, sorry its going back to where it came from, I knew I should of stayed with the good old American fisher, how the hell can any one find any thing with that crap(sorry minelab not impressed)go back to the drawing bord, discrim, ground balance, sensitivity, its a bloody f....ng joke.I paid 394pounds sterling for that crap,ok I did manage to find a 2euro coin,AND THAT WAS ON THE SURFACE,a blind man could of found that, its a realy great detector if you collect bottel caps, foil and all sorts of crap the discrimination is a disaster, o yea, great detector for scrap dealers, plus this constant humming in the back round, the signal on the 2euro coin(that was a surface find)was realy looooong, thought I had found a bronze age axe,as for depth thats a real joke...minelab never again,,,Mikek. ps the pics look good and thats it(except for the 394pound bill...minus the 2euro)

well I got to find some thing soon, going back down to switzerland next week for a few days,I live there during the week but most weekends in munich,ok Im on holidays now till end of the month,so Im here and there,I live in a village right next to an old roman tradeing post along the river rhine,on the liechtenstein border, any way the fields are open now, thats why I need a deacent detector, the place stinks of good coins and relics, going to give the minelab another shot, watching some vidieos on you tube may be I just need more time and patience with it,   mikek

Hello mike . Sorry to hear about Minelab . But it makes sense now because they were just sold in March 2008 for $70.5 million By Codan Group . So they will add as many new models as they can , whether they work or not , just to get back the $70.5 million as fast as possible . Reminds of First Texas here in USA who owns Bounty Hunter and now Teknetics and Fisher . 60 different models and 10 are pretty good and most of the good ones are the Fishers . So 50 different models can be purchased to sit in your Closet for a few years and then sold on E-Bay for an Outrageous Price !! . Sorry to hear that mike , I hope you recoup your losses . Tesoro makes some good machines like Outback said !!
Regards........Eugene
