It is customary to introduce oneself on ones first post. There is nothing wrong with coming here and selling a metal detector but to ONLY do that is bad form.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

welcome, as an aside what dont you like about the deus?.
i know some get them and rave about them constantly, and others seem to get rid very quickly.
i understand from talking to users on the uk forums that they are either loved or hated, a bit like marmite as we say in the uk.

Mate, you broke no rules but we do enjoy a visitor and a chin wag, as they say. Stop over on New User Introduction and tell us all about yourself.

And we're mostly ALL old and tired here. Else we'd be out there working for treasure.
