Hello! Thanks for your interest and for the feedback.
Yes the pickit2 is not compatible with the PIC12F1840. There are some differences in the programming voltages.
I have been slowly improving the project. Just some time ago got the new version PCB-s also. But been having some health problems and because of that unable to post newer pictures yet.
Best regards,
Teemo

All unused pins need to be grounded through a 33k resistor and programmed to be low, for starters.

Hi GD thanks for that tip, just to be clear should all individual unused pins have its own individual 33k resistor to gnd
or can each unused pin be commoned  and then to gnd via one 33k ?

.

The programmers are not expensive. Digi-key.com or mouser.com or sparkfun.com, all sell pic programmers for the 12f1840 pic chips.  If you are in u.s.a. go to a frys electronics store , they are a big electronic store that sells inexpensive programmers too.   Best Regards Eugene

Hello, and what do you say on fuses what to put in piercing. ? The default, or any, please specify.

Translated by MOD.  English Only Please.  repeated the project turned out not very good, although all denominations correspond . very difficult to run the coil but through trial , it has made steady but not start . at 10mm ferrite wound 300 turns of 0.4mm wire. ring and 50mm in the same wire 150 turns , it works, but the sensitivity to all not whiter than 4cm . wish to play and gave the child , he had collected in the courtyard of a bunch of nails and plugs . expensive designer for such a weak toy !
